| “Lightning” became the 2nd Collie in Australia to achieve the TCH Title. TQT- 22/9/2001: TD – 25/8/2002: TDX – 12/7/2003: T.CH 9/8/2003 He was first Collie/Collie Rough in Australia to achieve TSD and 2nd Collie to achieve TSDX in Australia. TSD – 24/8/2009: TSDX – 1/10/2010 He placed 2nd in CCD Class at the 2007 Collie National Obedience Trial. He achieved his Title for CCD on 26/8/2007 He passed his HIT on 27/12/2003. He passed his HT on 02/09/2007 at the Australian Shepherd Club of Victoria Open Herding Trial where he also achieved the Australian Shepherd Best Herding Test Rosette award for the Trial. He never went further with herding. “Lightning” was also a wonderful dog to use to teach other people handling skills in Tracking and many handlers that I have taught have learnt by having a go on this experienced dog. He also was used at many Pet Expos to promote the Breed. He retired from activities in 2010 after gaining his TSDX in October. Lightning passed away on 10/09/2013 |
